let me tell you mine..

My name is Victoria. I’m 30 years old, a self-taught photographer, wife, Christian, dog-mom and world-renowned chef (to my husband).

You may be wondering about the name of my business- it's my name! Daun is my middle name, pronounced like dawn (yes, like from Twilight: Breaking Dawn). This is a German spelling of the name!

So, what brought me to photography? Well, I really got into photography when I was about into my teens. In my family I was the "family photographer". At all the family gatherings I pretty much had the family camera in my hands the whole time, but it wasn't until I was 16 that I received my very first camera! It was a purple Nikon point and shoot. I remember taking it everywhere even if most of the pictures got deleted! When my dad bought a "professional" camera it basically became mine. LOL. I remember taking the camera to Disneyland because we had Annual Passes and we were always going there. I took pictures of the buildings, the characters and yes... even the shrubbery! I remember watching the photographers that worked inside the park and thinking that would be a cool job! I didn't start considering photography in a serious way until after I started dating my boyfriend (Now Husband). He bought me my camera for our first Christmas. He has been an amazing support through my journey and hey, you just might meet him at your next session! He's also an expert veil thrower! (I taught him well) I don't think I would get to where I am without his continued support!

I have a passion for creating the best moments + best experience for my clients, and I will always uphold my values. I am confident in making you feel as comfortable as possible when standing behind the lens.

I know how to have fun and allow my couples to enjoy a very chill evening while getting some amazing photos taken! It is all about the ‘experience’.
